HVAC Engineer

You design the systems that keep buildings comfortable, safe, and energy-efficient. As an HVAC engineer, you plan the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for offices, hospitals, schools, factories, and homes, making sure the air is the right temperature, clean, and properly circulated. You spend your days working with design software, calculating loads and airflow, selecting equipment, reviewing building plans, and sometimes visiting job sites.
