Profession
Sales Operations Analyst
The sales machine behind the results.
A sales operations analyst keeps the sales machine running smoothly. You manage the data, tools, and processes that salespeople rely on, such as the customer relationship management system, territory and quota plans, sales reports, and forecasts. On a normal day you may clean up customer data, build a dashboard showing pipeline health, investigate why deals are stalling, help set up a new commission plan, or train the team on a tool. You work behind the scenes with sales leaders, finance, and marketing, mostly at a computer.
