Sustainability Specialist in Supply Chain

A supply chain sustainability specialist helps a company reduce the environmental and social impact of how its products are made and moved. You work with suppliers to understand their practices, track greenhouse gas emissions, look for greener packaging and transport options, and design programs for reuse and recycling. In a normal week you may analyze supplier data, visit a facility or join a video call to discuss improvements, write reports on progress, and advise purchasing and logistics teams on better choices. You also keep up with changing regulations and customer expectations.
