Profession
Supply Chain Analyst
The link that connects production and delivery.
A supply chain analyst studies how products and materials move from suppliers to factories to customers, and looks for ways to make that flow faster, cheaper, and more reliable. Your day might include pulling data on inventory levels and shipping times, building forecasts, tracking late orders, and preparing reports for managers. When something goes wrong, such as a delayed shipment or a supplier shortage, you investigate the cause and propose a fix. You work closely with purchasing, warehouse, transportation, and sales teams.
