Profession
Trade Finance Specialist
Financing that enables global trade.
A trade finance specialist helps companies buy and sell across borders with less risk. You work with the instruments that make this possible: letters of credit, bank guarantees, documentary collections, and financing for importers and exporters. Day to day, you review documents such as invoices, bills of lading, and contracts, check that they match the terms, structure financing, communicate with banks in other countries, and make sure transactions follow regulations. You work with clients, relationship managers, compliance teams, freight and logistics partners, and legal staff.
