Foreign Trade Analyst

As a foreign trade analyst, you keep goods moving across international borders smoothly and legally. You handle the paperwork and rules behind importing and exporting, including customs documents, tariff classifications, shipping arrangements, and trade regulations. You track shipments, calculate duties and taxes, and make sure everything complies with the laws of each country involved. Your days are spent in trade software and spreadsheets, coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal teams to solve the many small problems that come up in global shipping.
