Profession
Sports Physiotherapist
Athletes at their peak with fewer injuries.
A sports physical therapist helps athletes prevent injuries, recover from them, and return to play safely. You evaluate how a person moves, find the cause of pain or weakness, and design a program of manual therapy, strengthening, mobility work, and gradual return to sport. In a typical day you treat several patients, update treatment plans, talk with coaches or doctors, and teach exercises people can do at home. When you work with a team, you may travel to games and handle quick assessments on the sideline.
