Profession
Physiotherapist
Rehabilitation that restores quality of life.
A physical therapist helps people recover from injuries, surgeries, and illnesses, and manage long-term conditions, so they can move better and live with less pain. A typical day includes evaluating new patients, testing strength, balance, and movement, designing a treatment plan, and guiding exercises and hands-on techniques. You may work with someone after a knee replacement, a stroke, a sports injury, or a lung condition. You teach patients how to continue at home, track their progress, and document care, and you often communicate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists.
