Specialist in Agricultural Drones

A specialist in agricultural drones uses unmanned aircraft to collect information and treat crops. You plan flights over fields, operate or supervise drones with cameras and sensors, and turn the data into maps that show plant health, water stress, weeds, or pests. Some specialists also run drones that spray or spread inputs where they are needed. You review results with farmers and agronomists, maintain equipment, check weather and airspace conditions, and keep careful records. The job combines time outdoors with computer work, and it is often seasonal.
