Profession
Labor Law Analyst
Labor compliance without surprises.
A labor law analyst tracks employment and labor rules and helps an organization understand how they apply. In the United States that means federal laws on wages, overtime, leave, safety, and discrimination, plus the rules of each state and sometimes city. Your day might include reading new regulations and court decisions, writing summaries for managers, reviewing policies, answering questions from HR, helping prepare for audits, and supporting lawyers on research. Some analysts also follow collective bargaining agreements and union-related developments.
