Profession
Contracts Attorney
Legal certainty in every clause.
As a contracts attorney, you draft, review, and negotiate the agreements that businesses and people rely on, from service deals and partnerships to technology and employment contracts. Your job is to make sure the language is clear, fair, and protects your client, catching risky clauses before they cause trouble later. Day to day you read and write detailed documents, research relevant law, spot potential problems, and negotiate terms with the other side's lawyers. Much of the work is careful and precise, done at a desk and in meetings, and clients count on you to translate dense legal language into plain advice they can actually use.
