Profession
Analytics Specialist
Data proving the impact of marketing.
You measure how well marketing and campaigns are actually working. Day to day you set up tracking, gather data from websites, ads, and email, and build reports and dashboards that show what is driving results and what is not. You analyze which channels bring in customers, calculate returns on campaigns, and translate the numbers into clear recommendations for the marketing team. Much of your work is in analytics tools and spreadsheets, but a big part of the job is explaining what the data means to people who make decisions based on it.
