Profession
Training & Development Analyst
Learning that transforms careers
A training and development analyst figures out what skills people at work need and builds ways to teach them. You talk with managers and employees, review performance data, and identify gaps. Then you design programs, such as workshops, online courses, onboarding plans, and coaching sessions, and often deliver some of them yourself. Afterward, you check whether the training worked by gathering feedback and results. You spend your time among HR colleagues, team leaders, subject experts, and learners, and you use both presentation skills and learning software.
