Profession
PR Analyst
I build bridges between brands and people.
A public relations analyst helps an organization shape how the public sees it. On a typical day you monitor news and social media, draft press releases and talking points, build media lists, pitch stories to reporters, and track how coverage performed. When a problem comes up, such as a product issue or a bad review going viral, you help the team respond quickly and clearly. You work with communications directors, executives, marketers, and journalists, in agencies, company offices, and nonprofits. Reporting matters too, since leaders want to know whether a campaign changed how people talk about the organization.
