Profession
Process Analyst
I map workflows and generate efficiency.
A process analyst studies how work gets done in an organization and finds ways to make it simpler, faster, and less error-prone. A normal day might include interviewing employees, mapping steps on a flow chart, reviewing data on delays, and suggesting changes such as removing duplicated approvals or automating a task. You then help teams test and adopt the new process. You work with managers, operations staff, IT teams, and customers in offices or remotely. Good analysts ask many questions and listen to the people who do the work every day.
