Profession
Blue Team Analyst
Defending systems from real-world attacks
As a blue team analyst, you're one of the defenders who keep an organization's systems safe from hackers. Day to day, you watch dashboards and alerts, hunt for suspicious activity, and investigate whether a strange login or file is a real threat. When an attack happens, you help contain it, figure out how it got in, and close the gap. You usually work in a security operations center, on-site or remote, coordinating with IT teams and sometimes racing to respond to an incident in real time.
