Profession
Computer Vision Engineer
Making machines see
As a computer vision engineer, you build software that lets machines understand images and video the way people understand what they see. Your systems might recognize faces, spot defects on a factory line, help a self driving car read the road, or let a phone scan a document. Day to day you collect and label image data, design and train machine learning models, write and test code, and tune systems so they run accurately and fast. You work closely with data scientists and software engineers, spending a lot of time experimenting, debugging, and improving models, often measuring tiny gains that add up to a real breakthrough.
