Profession
Arbitration Attorney
Resolves conflicts outside of the judicial system.
As an Arbitration Attorney, you help people and companies settle serious disputes without going through a public courtroom. Instead of a judge and jury, arbitration uses a neutral decision-maker chosen by the parties, and you are the lawyer who builds the case, argues it, and guides your client through the process. Your days include reading contracts closely, gathering evidence, writing detailed legal arguments, and appearing at hearings that can involve construction fights, international business deals, or contract breakdowns. Much of the work is research and writing, punctuated by intense periods of preparing for and running a hearing.
