Profession
Credit Analyst
Assess credit granting risk.
As a credit analyst, you decide how much financial risk it makes sense to take on a borrower. When a person or business applies for a loan, credit line, or financing, you dig into their financial history, income, existing debts, and credit scores to judge whether they are likely to pay it back. Day to day, you review applications, build financial analyses, set credit limits and terms, and write recommendations that lenders rely on to approve or decline requests.
