Solutions Architect

A solutions architect designs the technical answer to a business problem. You listen to what a customer or internal team needs, then map out which systems, cloud services, and integrations will meet those needs while staying secure, reliable, and affordable. You draw architecture diagrams, write design documents, answer technical questions in meetings, and sometimes build proof-of-concept demos. At a software vendor, you often support the sales team by showing customers how the product fits their setup. At a company, you guide project teams so what they build fits the larger technology plan.
