Construction Manager
From blueprint to completed building.
As a construction manager, you turn blueprints into finished buildings by coordinating everything and everyone on a project. From a house to an office tower, you make sure the work gets done on time, on budget, and safely. Day to day you plan schedules, hire and direct subcontractors, order materials, inspect progress, solve unexpected problems, and keep clients and architects updated. You split your time between a job site trailer and the field, wearing a hard hat and walking the site, and you are constantly making decisions and communicating so that dozens of moving parts stay in sync.
