Profession
Clinical Educational Psychologist
It intervenes in learning difficulties.
As an educational therapist, you help children and teens who struggle with learning overcome their difficulties. Day to day, you assess how a student learns, identify challenges like dyslexia, ADHD, or trouble with math, and design personalized strategies and activities to help them succeed. You work one-on-one or in small groups, teaching skills and building confidence, and you often coordinate with parents, teachers, and other specialists. You work in private practice, clinics, schools, or learning centers, focusing on the whole learner, not just the subject.
