Profession
Educational Advisor
Guiding students on the path to learning.
As an educational advisor, you help students figure out their path through school and toward their future. You meet with them one on one to talk about their strengths, struggles, and goals, and you help them choose classes, plan for college or careers, and handle challenges along the way. You work with families and teachers, track student progress, and connect students with resources when they need extra support. You spend your days in schools, colleges, or advising centers, mostly in conversations that can change a young person's direction.
