Profession
Entertainer
Movement is life in design.
As an animator, you bring characters, objects, and worlds to life through movement. You create the motion you see in animated films, video games, commercials, and online videos, whether by drawing frames, sculpting and posing 3D models, or moving physical objects for stop-motion. You start from scripts and storyboards, then design how a character walks, reacts, and shows emotion. Your days are spent at a computer with animation software, refining scenes shot by shot, and working closely with directors, designers, and other artists on a team.
