Profession
Web designer
Websites that delight and convert.
A web designer shapes how a website looks and feels, and how easy it is to use. You decide on layouts, color, typography, imagery, and the flow from one page to the next, so that visitors understand what a site offers and can do what they came to do. In a normal week you meet with clients or teammates to understand goals, sketch ideas, build wireframes and prototypes in design software, get feedback, and hand polished designs to developers. You also check how pages behave on phones, tablets, and desktops, and keep accessibility in mind so that more people can use what you make.
