Profession
News anchor
It informs the country live on television.
A news anchor presents the news to a television or radio audience and guides viewers through the day's stories. You read from a script, introduce reporters' stories, interview guests, react to breaking developments, and keep the broadcast moving on time. Much of the work happens before you go on air: you read wire reports, write or edit scripts, talk with producers about which stories to lead with, and check facts. Many anchors also report in the field, appear at community events, and share content on social media.
