Profession
Business Consultant
Solutions for complex business challenges
As a business consultant, you help companies solve problems and work better. Day to day, you study how a business runs, interview employees and leaders, analyze data, and figure out what's holding the company back. Then you build recommendations and present them, often guiding the client through the changes. You might focus on strategy, operations, finance, or technology, and you often work across many industries, jumping into a new company and a new challenge every few months. Much of the work happens in meetings, in spreadsheets, and on the road or over video calls.
