Profession
Project Manager
I deliver projects on time and on budget.
A project manager takes a goal, such as launching a product, building a facility, or rolling out a new system, and turns it into a plan that a team can deliver. You define scope, break work into tasks, build schedules and budgets, assign responsibilities, and track progress. Much of the job is communication: running meetings, updating stakeholders, managing risks, and removing blockers. Depending on the field, you may use waterfall planning, Scrum, Kanban, or a mix, and you work with teams in tech, construction, healthcare, finance, marketing, and many other settings.
