You help teams and organizations deliver work in short, focused cycles using agile methods. Day to day you coach teams on frameworks like Scrum and Kanban, facilitate planning sessions and retrospectives, remove obstacles that slow people down, and help leaders set clear priorities and measurable goals. At a larger scale you might help coordinate many teams working toward a shared release. Much of the job is communication and facilitation, turning a group of individuals into a team that ships steadily and improves each cycle. To get here, a bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field is common, though experience often matters more. The defining credentials are agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster or similar programs, which teach the frameworks employers expect you to know. Many specialists come from software, operations, or project coordination backgrounds and add these certifications as they move into agile roles. Real experience running or supporting agile teams is what ultimately convinces employers. The market includes technology companies, banks, healthcare, retail, and any large organization trying to work faster and adapt more quickly. As agile practices spread beyond software, demand has grown across industries. Many people start as a project coordinator or Scrum Master for a single team, then grow into coaching multiple teams or guiding an organization's broader agile transformation.
